EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nkaimani Aashtha Ashby, Ph.D., is the founder and Executive Director of Chastity House (CH) which serves the following programs: ChasteKeepers (CK) teen pregnancy, STD/STI and sex trafficking prevention programs; TeenWise Academy (teen peer coaching); Life Coaching Training and Certification; and, Center for the Healing Arts (traditional, professional holistic, and Christ-centered counseling services).

Dr. Ashby, passionately known as "Dr. Kai," has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Jacksonville University TS, Master of Arts in Community Counseling, and Doctorate of Philosophy in Christian Counseling with a concentration in Life Coaching from Newburgh Theological Seminary and Bible College, EQUIP Leadership Certification from Ohio Christian University, and advanced studies in Egyptology at the Sia Academy for Ancient Egyptian Studies and self-directed learning. 

Dr. Kai is licensed and certified through the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Christian Counselors and Therapists. She has been working with teen girls for more than 20 years.

In addition, she is a member of the Georgia, American, and National Christian Counselors Association. Her fields of expertise include abstinence education and prevention, anger and stress management, grief counseling, and adolescent counseling; encouragement and motivational speaking; life coping and behavior modification coaching; Black history; writing and facilitation.

Recognized as a child/teen advocate, skillful and caring counselor, a masterful speaker, teacher, and workshop leader, Dr. Kai has dedicated her life to empowering teenage girls with valuable knowledge.

She is the prolific author of children, teen and adult Christian fiction and non-fiction titles.
